The much anticipated teaser for Extraction 2—Netflix’s follow-up to the popular action movie—has now been released. Chris Hemsworth returns as Tyler Rake in this action-packed movie, but this time with a deadlier purpose, having previously worked with director Sam Hargrave and the Russo Brothers on the critically acclaimed Extraction. On June 16, the movie will premiere exclusively on Netflix!

According to the plot synopsis, Chris Hemsworth plays Tyler Rake again in the Extraction 2 sequel. Rake, the Australian black operations mercenary who just made it through the events of the first movie, is back and given another dangerous mission: rescuing the wounded family of a brutal Georgian mobster from the prison where they are being imprisoned.
Chris Hemsworth and Sam Hargrave collaborate once more, with Joe and Anthony Russo’s AGBO handling production and Joe Russo handling writing duties. Together with Adam Bessa, Olga Kurylenko, Daniel Bernhardt, and Tinatin Dalakishvili, Golshifteh Farahani reprises her role from the first movie.
The first movie, Extraction, was based on the graphic novel “Ciudad” by Ande Parks. The sequel, Extraction 2, was written by Ande Parks, Joe Russo, and Anthony Russo, with visuals by Fernando León González.
