CEO of Meta Mark Zuckerberg is apparently building a $100 million compound in Hawaii, modeled after Elon Musk’s hidden glass mansion. But that’s not even the unexpected aspect of it. This compound contains a top-secret 5,000-square-foot subterranean bunker with its own food and energy supplies, according to a Wired investigation. Rumor has it that Zuckerberg is getting ready for the end of the world.

According to the story, this compound is called Kualoa Ranch and it’s on the island of Kauai. It is said that the aforementioned bunker has an escape hatch that is reachable by ladder. It also features tall metal doors that are concrete-filled. 

There are rumors that this property has about twelve tree houses connected by rope bridges, thirty bedrooms, and thirty bathrooms. This will enable visitors to move around while remaining atop the treetops. Zuckerberg intends to put in “blind doors” in the library that match the color of the walls.

It’s one of the most expensive personal construction projects in contemporary history, and it’s currently partly built. Based on the sources and planning documents that were accessed through public records requests, the approximate cost of this property is $100 million. Furthermore, the land is valued at $170 million. Zuckerberg is investing a total of $270 million in this property. This is equivalent to 2240.89 crore in Indian rupees.
