Pamela Chopra, 74, passed away this morning, the Chopra family would like to announce with deep hearts. In Mumbai, her cremation was performed at 11:00. Pamela was a writer and a producer of films. She has contributed her voice to songs for a number of successful films, including Kabhie Kabhie, Noorie, Kaala Patthar, Silsila, Chandni, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, and Mujhse Dosti Karoge!. She has also received credit for writing Kabhie Kabhie and designing the costumes for films like Silsila, both of which were made under the direction of her husband, Yash Chopra.
She wed Yash Chopra in 1970, and the two of them had two sons: Aditya and Uday.
