Bengaluru IT Firms Lose ₹225 Crore Rupees as a Result of the Employees’ stuck for 5 hours in Traffic Jam

IT companies in Bengaluru lost 225 crore rupees on August 30 as a result of their employees being detained in traffic for about five hours due to severe flooding that day that brought the city to its knees. On September 1, the Outer Ring Road Companies Association sent a letter to Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai outlining the loss and the pressing need to rebuild the city's infrastructure.
