Indian Online Gamers Gained Rs. 58,000 Crore in 3 Years – IT Department Urges who have Won on Online Gaming Sites to Pay Taxes

The Income Tax Department has requested those "winners" of 58,000 crore over the course of the previous three years on an online gambling platform come forward, file updated or revised returns, and pay the necessary taxes. The GST on online gaming, casinos, and horse racing is the subject of a Group of Ministers (GoM) meeting on Monday.

Bengaluru IT Firms Lose ₹225 Crore Rupees as a Result of the Employees’ stuck for 5 hours in Traffic Jam

IT companies in Bengaluru lost 225 crore rupees on August 30 as a result of their employees being detained in traffic for about five hours due to severe flooding that day that brought the city to its knees. On September 1, the Outer Ring Road Companies Association sent a letter to Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai outlining the loss and the pressing need to rebuild the city's infrastructure.
