According to LinkedIn’s most recent list of the top 25 organisations, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India’s largest IT company, has become the best organisation to work for in India. With more than 2,10,000 women working there, TCS was also India’s top employer for women the previous year.

The list this year includes businesses in the financial services, oil and gas, professional services, manufacturing, and gaming industries, a change from the IT corporations that dominated it last year.
Ten of the 25 firms, or an overwhelming majority, are in the financial services, banking, or fintech industry. Examples include Macquarie Group (5, HDFC Bank (11), Mastercard (12), and Yubi (14). According to the report, Bengaluru is the top city where these leading organisations have offices and are eager to engage new employees, followed by Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Pune.
The 2023 Top Companies India list is based on LinkedIn’s data to rank businesses according to eight pillars that have been shown to promote career advancement, including the capacity to advance, skills growth, company stability, external opportunity, company affinity, gender diversity, educational background, and employee presence in the nation.
According to LinkedIn statistics, these top organisations are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in artificial intelligence (AI), robots, electronics, software testing, and computer security. Financial industry employers are looking for expertise in areas including growth plans, financial accounting, and commercial banking. A growing demand was also mentioned for game development and industrial design, among other things.
The research showed that engineering, consulting, product management, business development, sales, customer success, design, finance, and operations are some of the top job functions that these top organisations are investing in.
