Following the failure of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha,’ Aamir Khan has revealed his next project. Aamir told News18, “I haven’t spoken about it publicly, and I won’t be able to say much now either.” But I know what the title is. ‘Sitare Zameen Par’ is the title of the film. You may recall my film ‘Taare Zameen Par,’ and the title of our film is ‘Sitare Zameen Par,’ since we are taking a ten-step forward with the same topic. ‘Taare Zameen Par’ was a touching film. You will giggle while watching this film. That movie made you cry; this one will make you laugh.”

“But the theme is the same,” Aamir added. That’s why we chose this name with care. We all have flaws and defects, but we all have something special, so we are continuing this subject, but this time, the character of the extraordinary youngster Ishaan in that film – my character in ‘Taare Zameen Par’ assists that character. In ‘Sitare Zameen Par,’ those nine boys, each with their own problems, assist me. It’s the inverse.”

Aamir will also produce the future film, according to PTI.

Darsheel Safary portrayed dyslexic Ishaan Awasthi in ‘Taare Zameen Par’. Aamir Khan portrayed art teacher Ram Shankar Nikumbh. The film depicts Ishaan’s life and imagination, whose poor academic performance forces his parents to send him to a boarding school, where a new art instructor, Nikumbh, fears he is dyslexic. He assists him in overcoming his reading disability.

On December 21, 2007, ‘Taare Zameen Par’ was released. It was a commercial triumph, earning Rs 1.35 billion globally.
