Apple has raised the price of its products in recent years with the launch of the iPhone, iPad, and even the MacBook, but the process is not yet complete. According to recent speculations, Apple intends to release the Ultra model along with the iPhone 16 series next year, giving its lineup another high-end iPhone. The features that distinguish the iPhone Pro series from other models, according to the Bloomberg article, have led to strong demand.
Details about Apple might release the iPhone 16 Ultra in 2024, it might be more expensive than the Pro Max model
Last year, there were rumours that Apple would release the iPhone 15 Ultra instead of the iPhone 15 Pro Max this year. Mark Gurman, a well-known Apple expert, and Bloomberg were the sources of the leak.
However, the Pro Max model will live on, according to the same expert (for now). In his most current Power On newsletter, Gurman writes: “Apple might, however, add an even more expensive iPhone above both Pro models rather than dubbing the Pro Max “the Ultra.” Internally, the business has spoken of doing just that, perhaps in time for the 2024 release of the iPhone.”
Gurman asserts that the iPhone 16 Ultra may come with more camera improvements from Apple (or whatever it might be called). Two further significant enhancements are a larger display and a faster processor.
Even if the iPhone 15 series is presently in production, Apple may alter its mind and add the iPhone 16 Ultra to its portfolio for the next year. Given that the iPhone 14 Pro Max costs over Rs 1.5 lakh and the iPhone 15 Pro Max might increase in price this year, we anticipate the rumoured iPhone 16 Ultra to easily become the first Rs 2 lakh iPhone on the market.
The rumoured iPhone 16 Ultra, which would be the most expensive model in the series and be similar to the Apple Watch Ultra, may use more expensive materials from Apple. Last year, Apple began openly distinguishing between the regular iPhone and the iPhone Pro models. However, the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max differ slightly from the iPhone 13 in terms of their standard iPhone 14 and 14 Max models, as well as their new display notch, CPU, and cameras.
