Mark Zuckerberg is transforming Facebook into Instagram

Reader, have a wonderful month of March. My name is Diamond Naga Siu, and I need to improve the security of my phone. I rarely utilise my Android phone’s pattern unlock feature, but my colleague Sam Tabahriti’s story worried me.

Details about as part of his self-proclaimed “year of efficiency,” Mark Zuckerberg is transforming Facebook into Instagram

He spoke with a woman who had been locked out of her Apple account just minutes after her iPhone had been taken. Her bank account was then debited $10,000. And Apple was “not helpful at all” when she sought restoring access to her Apple account.

Everyone could be affected by this. Her phone was stolen as she was standing outside a pub. And she believes the thief observed her input the passcode and then waited for a chance to grab the iPhone.

Let’s get into today’s technology before I go change all my passwords and update my security settings.

Meta wishes for Facebook to resemble its younger sibling Instagram. CEO Mark Zuckerberg is restructuring Facebook to resemble Instagram. The reform, which will most certainly include layoffs, is part of Zuck’s planned “year of efficiency.”

Facebook has the most number of Meta employees. Several sources told Insider that this decision will result in a 5-10% reduction in Meta’s headcount.

And managers are anxious about their jobs, after Zuck recently lambasted “managers controlling managers, managing managers, managing managers, managing.” A current employee informed Insider that certain teams have already been divested of their managers.

My colleagues Kali Hays and Sydney Bradley explain how Facebook is being shaped to resemble Instagram.
