Adidas will be the sole provider of all match, training, and travel apparel for the men’s, women’s, and junior teams. Adidas will have exclusive rights to design and manufacture kits across all formats of the game.

The second ICC World Test Championship final, which will be played at The Oval in London, will mark the debut of Team India’s Adidas uniform.

The BCCI also unveiled a video to commemorate the historic collaboration in which they emphasised Adidas’s catchphrase, “Impossible is Nothing,” while also highlighting the background of Indian cricket.

Jay Shah, the secretary of the BCCI, said this about the agreement: “We are committed to helping the game of cricket flourish, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to work with one of the world’s top sportswear brands, Adidas, in this journey. The performance and future success of several categories of Indian cricket will be significantly influenced by Adidas, which will play a significant role thanks to its outstanding products, long history in sports, and broad global presence.

“We are proud to partner with BCCI and Team India, the most recognisable team in India,” added Adidas CEO Bjrn Gulden. India’s most popular sport is cricket, so it’s critical for us to support it financially and publicly. We could not have partnered with anyone better than BCCI. For the foreseeable future, I think India’s sports market will have the fastest growth. Regarding this partnership, we are steadfastly committed to helping our team develop into the top sports brand in India.

Major athletic organisations such as Argentina, the current FIFA World Cup champion, as well as previous champions Spain and Germany, all have Adidas as their official uniform sponsor.

Adidas will produce uniforms for the India “A” men’s and women’s national teams, India “B” men’s and women’s national teams, as well as for their coaches and staff, in addition to providing uniforms to the national men’s, women’s, and U-19 teams.
