But much to his surprise, the servicing centre required him to pay them 44,840 before he could pick up his car. Mr. Ganesh was informed by the Volkswagen repair shop that this cost was necessary in order to release paperwork regarding the damage the automobile had sustained.
Fortunately, Volkswagen fixed the problem after receiving another email from Mr. Ganesh. The company chose to pay 5,000 for the repairs.
