The Delhi Police has once more called Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez in connection with an extortion case involving con artist Sukesh Chandrashekhar. On Monday at 11:00 am, Jacqueline Fernandez is expected to appear before the Economic Offenses Wing.

Actress Jacqueline Fernandez joined the investigation on Wednesday after receiving a third summons and being questioned about an extortion case for about eight hours. Pinky Irani, who was allegedly paid lakhs of rupees for the role of introducing Jacqueline Fernandez to the con artist, was with her.

The Delhi Police discovered contradictions in their replies during the initial round of interrogation. The EOW has now requested that Jacqueline Fernandez appears on Monday.

Delhi Police is investigating Jacqueline Fernandez, who has been named as an accusation by the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case, to determine whether she took part in the extortion scheme run by con artist Sukesh Chandrashekhar.

Investigation revealed Sukesh Chandrashekhar had lavishly paid for Jacqueline Fernandez, according to the investigating agencies. Questions about their connection have also been aroused by images of the two of them together. Jacqueline has denied having a relationship with Sukesh despite the latter’s claims to the contrary.

Sukesh Chandrasekhar is accused of extorting a businessman’s wife while he was imprisoned. Sukesh Chandrasekhar is charged in over 30 cases by several investigative authorities.
