DK Metcalf of the Seattle Seahawks kicked off NBA All-Star Weekend with a high-flying effort in the Ruffles All-Star Celebrity Game.

Metcalf concluded with 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 blocks to assist Team Dwyane Wade, captained by the three-time NBA champion and minority owner of the Utah Jazz, win 81-78. Metcalf’s double-double performance earned him the MVP award for the game.
He displayed his hops early and frequently with a barrage of dunks.
Metcalf’s bounce on defence was similarly spectacular, as he consistently deflected attempts.
Tyler Lockett, Metcalf’s teammate, and his teammates were impressed with their pass-catcher.
Yet, there was some drama late in the game. Team Ryan, led by Jazz governor Ryan Smith, trailed by three points with less than a minute remaining in regulation. As time expired, WWE wrestler The Miz hit what seemed to be the game-winning four-point shot. Fortunately for Metcalf and Team Dwyane, it was later determined that it did not count.
Metcalf was complimented on his new hardware by Wade and Lockett.
