Rajinikanth has finished filming Jailer and is now focusing on Lal Salaam. After the two films, he will be seen collaborating in Thalaivar 170, directed by Jai Bhim alum TJ Gnanavel. The film in question is provisionally dubbed Thalaivar 170 because it will be his 170th feature overall.

According to sources familiar with the situation, IndiaToday.In that, Lyca Productions will finance the movie, marking the two industry heavyweights’ first collaboration in nearly 32 years. The Piku star will reportedly have a significant part in Rajinikanth’s movie.

In the past, there were numerous rumours that Chiyaan Vikram, who plays Chiyaan in Ponniyin Selvan, had been offered the part. Although the team hasn’t specified a launch date, Thalaivar 170 is anticipated to launch later this year.
