On September 23, National Cinema Day will be observed by the Multiplex Association of India (MAI). The MAI is selling movie tickets for just Rs. 75 across 4000 screens in the nation to commemorate this occasion. National Cinema Day was originally scheduled to be observed on September 16 but was moved. It’s interesting to note that a movie ticket in any theatre on regular days costs between Rs 300 and Rs 500. And you would pay between Rs 1,000 and Rs 1,500 if you choose premium and reclining seats. For regular moviegoers, though, the large offer of Rs 75 for a movie on Cinema Day is a real treat.
The MAI also made a post about the deal on its official Twitter account, writing, “For a special entrance price of Rs 75 on National Cinema Day, the Multiplex Association of India (MAI) and theatres all throughout India invite moviegoers to spend the day at the movies. It was already stated that September 16th would be National Cinema Day. It will now take place on September 23, as requested by several “stakeholders” and in an effort to increase participation.”
How to purchase movie tickets online for Rs 75 through online:
- Check out any through-party apps or websites, such as PVR, Wave, or the websites of multiplexes.
- Enter your information to register or log in.
- Choose your city and the theatre in your neighborhood.
- Search for and choose the movie you want to see.
- At this point, choose the time and carry out the payment via UPI, internet banking, or another way.
Readers should be aware that third-party websites or apps can charge extra. For instance, BookMyShow is still required to add additional internet expenses and GST to the Rs75 price tag. Therefore, go immediately to the movie theatre on Cinema Day to get the tickets if you don’t want to pay any additional fees.
Take advantage of the bargain since many theatres are sold out on September 23. Early risers seized the opportunity to start the weekend with a great film. However, there weren’t many tickets left when we visited other websites and even third-party apps. The morning shows are fortunately still accessible. Therefore, act quickly before all the shows fill up.
