In-Depth details about India blocks Vidly TV’s website, apps, and social media accounts of Pakistan-based OTT platform:

According to the ministry, the web series “Sevak: The Confessions,” which was just released on the OTT platform, was judged to be harmful to India’s good relations with other countries as well as its national security, defense, sovereignty, and integrity.

According to the ministry, the series depicted sensitive Indian historical events in a twisted manner. According to the statement, “the web series portrayed an anti-India narrative on sensitive historical events and subjects of national importance, like Operation Blue Star and its aftermath, the destruction of the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya, the murder of a Christian missionary named Graham Staines, the Malegaon blasts, the Samjhauta Express blasts, the inter-state river water dispute related to Sutlej Yamuna Link canal, and others.”

It is believed that the Pakistani information operations apparatus financed the online series.

On November 26, 222, the anniversary of the 2008 Mumbai terrorist attacks, the first episode of the series was made available. The online series has so far had three episodes published.
