According to one of the individuals cited in the news agency’s article, the agreement was signed this month, making JioCinema’s streaming app the exclusive India platform partner for over 1,000 episodes and almost 20 movies of the Japanese anime series.

The news agency also cited research firm Media Partners Asia in stating that by 2027, the domestic streaming market is expected to grow to a valuation of $7 billion.

JioCinema is anticipated to offer over 3,000 hours of kid-friendly material, including films and television series from DreamWorks, Animaccord, Entertainment One, and Cartoon Network Studios, according to the people cited in the story.
