This means Indian iPhone consumers won’t have to wait as long to get their hands on the brand-new, gleaming smartphones. This will be a turning point for the Made-in-India program as well.

Although Made-in-India phones will be featured for the first time on launch day, Apple still sources a sizable portion of its iPhones from China. Weeks after the announcement of the iPhone 14 cellphones last year, Apple started manufacturing them.

In 2017, Apple introduced the iPhone SE, the first model of its iPhone line. Prior to the release of the iPhone 15, the business has since proceeded to grow its operations in India. The business began producing the iPhone 6s in 2018, and the iPhone 7 followed in 2019.
