Naveen Patnaik issues an order to fill 4790 police constable positions

Naveen Patnaik, the chief minister of Odisha, gave the order to start the recruitment process for 4,790 constable positions in the state police force on Friday.

The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) announced in a statement that the hiring process for the positions will begin soon and be completed in four stages.

These recently hired constables will be assigned to the state’s 34 police districts and commissionerate police. According to the study, the capacity of the police to uphold peace and order in the state will be strengthened by filling the empty constable positions in various police stations throughout various districts.
