Details on Ninja 7 HEV, the first powerful hybrid production motorcycle from Kawasaki, is unveiled

The Ninja 7 HEV substitutes left-side switch cluster-mounted shift paddles that are reminiscent of Honda’s DCT-gearbox bikes for the traditional clutch-gear shifter. Additionally, the Automatic Launch Position Finder enables riders to simply switch into first gear with a single button press, regardless of their current gear.

The bike’s automated engine shutdown when coming to a complete stop to decrease pollution, followed by an automatic restart upon twisting the throttle grip, is an environmentally friendly feature. Sport Hybrid, Eco Hybrid, and EV are the three separate riding modes available on the motorcycle. It also has a Bluetooth-enabled TFT dashboard, just like the Ninja and Z e-1 versions, which enables notification and navigation alerts.

The bike is known as “Ninja 7” because of how similar it is to a 650-700cc model in terms of size and performance. According to Kawasaki, the Ninja 7 HEV will have fuel efficiency that is on par with a 250cc motorcycle.
