Additionally, some businesses have given their staff complimentary tickets.

Uno Aqua Care and Salem Survey Group, two businesses in Tamil Nadu, were the first to designate August 10 as a holiday. All of Uno Aqua Care’s locations in Chennai, Bangalore, Trichy, Tirunelveli, Chengalpattu, Mattuthavani, Arapalayam, and Alagappan Nagar will remain closed, the company has decided.
Uno Aqua Care, situated in Madurai, informed its staff that company would be closed on August 10 “to avoid piled-up leave requests to the HR department.”
“We have decided to proclaim a holiday on August 10, 2023, in honor of the release of superstar Rajini’s film Jailer. in an effort to avoid having a backlog of leave requests at HR. By giving complimentary tickets to the former to UNO Aqua employees, we also take the liberty of going above and beyond to encourage and combat piracy, according to a business circular.
On the other side, Salem Survey Group, a land surveying company with over 2000 employees, announced that all of its staff members working in Chennai, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Goa, Mumbai, and Odisha offices will get the day off on August 10 as a holiday.
Rajinikanth plays a retired police officer in the movie Jailer, which was made by Sun Pictures, the company owned by media mogul Kalanithi Maran. Nelson Dilipkumar, Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, and Vinayakan are among the notable actors who appear in the Nelson Dilipkumar-directed film.
The character ‘Tiger’ Muthuvel Pandian, played by Rajinikanth, was first featured in a teaser that was broadcast on August 3. Within the plot of the film, the famous actor plays the father of a police officer. The teaser also showed how a regular guy faces off against enemies while using both swords and guns.
As of Monday, Jailer had sold more than 612,000 tickets overall via the online ticketing service BookMyShow. According to Manobala Vijayabalan, a cinema trade analyst, the movie sold roughly 85.53 k tickets on Saturday, 233.15 k tickets on Sunday, and roughly 293.33 k tickets on Monday on the platform alone.
