A brief about over 200 pairs of shoes worth Rs. 10 lakh were stolen by thieves, but they were all for the right foot

In the Peruvian city of Huancayo, three guys stormed into a shoe store and stole more than 200 trainers that were on display.

The shoes, in accordance with the proprietor of the shoe store, are worth more than $13,000 (about Rs 10 lakh). But it might be difficult for the burglars to sell the right-foot shoes.

According to the BBC, the attempted heist was captured on the CCTV cameras. The robbers can be seen on camera smashing into the shoe store in the dead of night.

It is unclear if the burglars intended to take only the right-foot shoes or if they were unaware of what they were snatching as they stole.

According to local police commander Eduan Dáz, “We have obtained evidence at the spot. The peculiar aspect of this theft is that only the right foot’s shoes were taken. We will be able to find those people using the video and the fingerprints.
