The Chief Executive Officer of Hero MotoCorp, Niranjan Gupta, expressed his satisfaction with how potential buyers have reacted to the Harley-Davidson X440. He emphasized how customers welcomed Hero MotoCorp’s entry into this market with trust. Gupta further pointed out that more than 65% of reservations were for the motorcycle’s most expensive variant. This pattern highlights consumers’ propensity to spend money on pricier products, predicated on the value of the brand and the suitability of the business strategy.
According to Gupta, “This is just the beginning of our journey to win in the premium segment.” He said that after the new feat, more models would be released, and the company’s portfolio as a whole would grow. Hero MotoCorp’s strategic endeavors in the high-end motorcycle industry are stepping stones that are made possible by the response to the Harley-Davidson X440.
The Royal Enfield models Classic 350, Bullet 350, Himalayan, Scram, and Meteor 350 dominate this market, and the Harley-Davidson X440 is squarely in competition with them.
