Details on Shah Rukh Khan’s security protection was upgraded to Y+ level as a result of reported death threats

Shah Rukh had submitted a written protest to the state government, according to ANI, which cited the Maharashtra Police. After the release of his movies Pathan and Jawan, he said that he started receiving calls threatening his life.

According to sources cited by Indian Express, the Maharashtra State Intelligence Department (SID) had instructed the state’s special protection units (SPUs), district police, and police commissionerates to give “Y+ with an escort scale of security to Khan with immediate effect.”

The formal message was sent on October 5. In addition, it said that more protection had been put in place as a result of recent “imminent and probable” threats against Shah Rukh. Shah Rukh will have 11 security professionals at his disposal in the Y+ category, including six commandos, four police officers, and a traffic control car. His Mumbai house, Mannat, will be the location of the police officers.

After rallies against Shah Rukh, security around Mannat was boosted for several months prior to this. Protests against celebrities who supported online gaming apps took place in August. Two individuals scaled the exterior wall of the Mannat building in March of this year to gain entry. The individuals were reportedly captured by the security personnel, according to the Mumbai Police at the time.

Shah Rukh most recently appeared in Jawan, which has already earned $1103.27 crore globally. On September 7, the Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu versions of the Atlee-directed film were made available globally. Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, and Sanjay Dutt all make cameo cameos in the film.

The cast is completed by Mukesh Chhabra, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi, and Ridhi Dogra. Jawan is a Red Chillies Entertainment production that is co-produced by Gaurav Verma and Gauri Khan. He will soon be seen with Taapsee Pannu in Dunki, a film by Rajkumar Hirani.
