Police stated on Wednesday that former Indian cricketer Praveen Kumar and his kid had a tight escape after their car was hit by a tanker that was allegedly speeding.

The former fast bowler, a resident of Multan Nagar on Baghpat Road, was driving his son home from Pandav Nagar about 10 p.m. Tuesday when the tragedy occurred, according to Circle officer (Civil Lines) Arvind Chaurasia.
He claimed that as soon as his automobile got close to the Commissioner’s house, a speeding truck from the front smashed into it.
The cricketer’s car was severely damaged, but he and his son were unharmed, he claimed.
He stated that a case had been filed against the truck driver and that he had been apprehended.
