The state government intends to provide free coaching to at least 200 students for the UPSC Civil Services Examinations.

According to a Higher Education department official, the state government will also provide housing for the 200 candidates.
“The Higher Education Department will begin a scheme to provide free coaching for UPSC Civil Services Examinations, both Prelims and Mains, with accomodation for 200 candidates,” stated an official.
He noted that enrolment for the aforementioned coaching will be via an entrance examination.
“Aspirants must apply for enrolment in the entrance examination and download their admit cards online through the Higher Education Department’s website. The entrance exam will be held on February 26th, according to the official.
Meanwhile, the Higher Education Department requested that the OCAC create an online module within the SAMS site for inviting candidates to apply.
“The OCAC has been requested to construct the online module and provide a thorough report on this by February 10,” the official said.
