According to Moneycontrol, the job in Scotland is for an offshore rigger stationed in the North Sea close off the coast of Aberdeen. An offshore rig is a massive structure on or in the water used to drill wells, extract and refine oil and gas, and store it until it can be transported to land.

People engaged for this profession would be deployed to an offshore rig for one to six months at a time, with a base wage of Rs 36,000 per day for working 12 hours per day, and if that individual decides to stay for two years and completes two shifts of six to six months each, he would be paid £95,420. (Rs 1 crore).

The company has certain requirements in place to choose the right candidate, including the person having BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training), FOET (Further Offshore Emergency Training), CA-EBS (Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System), and OGUK Medical training, among others.

Even though the job was posted 24 days ago, applications are still being taken for the five open positions, indicating that no one is applying and that there may not be any takers.
