On Tuesday, Paytm E-commerce Private Limited stated that tomatoes would be sold on Paytm ONDC to consumers in Delhi-NCR for Rs 70 per kilogram via National Cooperative Consumers Federation of India (NCCF). With this effort, the portal would provide consumers with a weekly tomato supply of up to two kilograms for Rs 140 with free delivery. The business has also made a suggestion that, in accordance with NCCF guidelines, tomato costs may decrease even more.
Many consumers should gain from the decision, especially in light of the fact that tomato retail prices in several areas have surpassed Rs 200 per kilogram. Speaking about the promotion, a spokeswoman for Paytm E-Commerce Private Limited stated, “The increasing prices of kitchen necessities like tomatoes have been affecting many across the country. Now that NCCF and ONDC have partnered, our users in Delhi and the National Capital Region may readily find tomatoes at low costs.
