Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan received investment proposals worth of Rs 13 lakh crore at Global Investors Summit

At the opening event of the Global Investors Summit (GIS), which was held in Visakhapatnam on Friday, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy announced that Andhra Pradesh had received 340 investment proposals with an investment of Rs 13 lakh crore, creating jobs for close to six lakh people across 20 sectors.

CM Jagan stated, “It gives me great pride to report that we have received 340 bids totaling an investment of Rs. 13 lakh crore, creating employment for 6 lakh people across 20 industries. 92 MOUs will be carried out as of right now, totaling an investment of 11.85 lakh crore. We would like to let the local and worldwide investment community know how much they are valued and appreciated. It is necessary to investigate the possibilities the state presents and its emphasis on healthy competition and long-term partnerships.”

CM Jagan continued, “We shall look back on India’s G20 presidency under PM Modi as a turning point. India is among the nations with the fastest economic growth rates worldwide, including in terms of FDI. A proactive administration, a policy framework, trained young, and a robust infrastructure including ports, six airports, and three industrial corridors established in Andhra Pradesh are aiding the state.”

“The state government operates 26 skill colleges that adhere to international standards and involve the business community. I want to congratulate you and emphasise the need for the state to pursue sustainable growth. We encourage all business executives to get involved and learn more about the potential of the various industries in Andhra Pradesh. We must reassure you that we are only a phone call away, and that is our promise, stated CM Jagan.

Also, he stated that Visakhapatnam will serve as the state’s executive capital.

Mukesh Ambani, Chairman & Managing Director, Reliance Industries Ltd., announced his group will invest in Andhra Pradesh to set up a 10 gigawatt renewable solar energy project during the opening session of the two-day Global Investors Conference 2023 in Visakhapatnam.
