Though it is unknown what shape the smartphone will take, the technology required to build one is still being developed.

According to the report, expert Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that the foldable smartphone will not be available until 2024 in September of last year.

CCS Insight, an industry analysis organization, predicted in October that the technology behemoth would begin experimenting with foldable technology soon.

According to Ben Wood, the firm’s chief of research, if Apple encounters any technical challenges with the foldable phone, there would be a “feeding frenzy” among detractors who will blame the business for the flaws.
