The Odisha chief minister greeted the delegation by saying, “Ladies and gentlemen, Greetings from Odisha. Speaking at the FICCI National Executive Council Meeting is a joy for me. The third iteration of the Make in Odisha Conclave is about to begin. I would like to use this chance to express my gratitude to FICCI and all of its members for their assistance in the 22nd Make in Odisha Conclave.

In the near future, he stated, “We hope to build on the success of this conclave and continue to work together to bring in investment and prosperity to Odisha. We have a great connection with FICCI.”

It is encouraging to see a thriving effort for female entrepreneurs under FICCI FLO, particularly the collaboration with Mission Shakti. Our aim with Mission Shakti is to enable women in our state to become role models for entrepreneurs and leaders.

The CM of Odisha requested the FICCI FLO team to collaborate closely with the Mission Shakti Department to develop strategies for enhancing the local entrepreneurial ecosystem and providing chances for regional women business owners to access international markets.

The Chief Minister said, “Odisha is swiftly emerging as a fulcrum of trade, commerce, and industrialization in Eastern India and the Bay of Bengal region,” and he asked FICCI to advertise Odisha as a top investment destination through all of its channels.

The Chief Minister also went to the MIO 2022 exhibition, which featured a display of the six priority industries for the “Vision 2025: Odisha Industrial Development Plan.”

The Make in Odisha Conclave 2022 is expected to bring in considerable investment, support start-ups, and generate several job opportunities for the State. The conclave will offer a forum that will not only strengthen the start-up ecosystem but also strengthen the contribution of other industries, such as agritech, food and beverage, healthcare, manufacturing, and non-IT start-ups, to the state’s economic growth. The state’s inclusive policies are intended to entice start-ups and investors from all over the nation and overseas to select Odisha as their preferred location for doing business. The government has also partnered with Germany, Norway, and Japan to take part in the Make in Odisha 2022 Conclave as part of its attempts to reach out to global audiences.
