According to an ANI report, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik met with Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries (RIL), in Mumbai to discuss the advantages of the state as an investment location.

A statement from the state government reads, “CM Naveen Patnaik met with Mukesh Ambani to review the strengths of Odisha as an investment destination, and the future investment plans of Reliance Industries Ltd in the state.
During his tour to Mumbai, CM Patnaik will hold government-to-business (G2B) meetings with prominent industrialists from the area to explore investment prospects and fostering industrial growth in Odisha.
According to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, the state of Odisha received investment intents of Rs 10.50 lakh crore during its investment summit, Made in Odisha Colloquium, in December of last year. According to him, these investments have the potential to create 10.50 lakh direct and indirect jobs.
“I am pleased to report that the conclave has generated investment intents of Rs. 10.50 lakh crore with potential for 10.50 lakh direct and indirect employment,” Naveen Patnaik had remarked. It is encouraging to see the tremendous response we have received, particularly in the post-Covid environment.
