A brief about Five arrested using PAN details of Bollywood celebrities for doing credit card fraud

FPL Technologies Private Limited, the company that produces the “One Card,” a metal contactless credit card, filed a complaint with the police.

According to the police, the suspects have been identified as Sunil Kumar, 42, Puneet, 25, and Mohammad Asif, 32, all of whom live in Babarpur, and Vishwa Bhaskar Sharma, 42, and Pankaj Mishra, 37, who lives in Jaipur.

According to a senior police officer, Sharma, the main conspirator and fraud’s mastermind, worked at a government college in Rajasthan.

DCP (Shahdara) Rohit Meena stated, “He was the admin of the Telegram channel called “Loan App” and he came in contact with other persons who became participants of the racket.

According to the police, Aadhaar Enrollment Center employees Puneet and Asif were also involved in falsifying information on Aadhaar Cards.

According to DCP Meena, the group’s strategy was to use Google to find the celebrity’ GST information. The next 10 digits of the GSTIN are the PAN number, and they were aware of this, according to the police officer.

As Google has celebrity birthdates, the PAN and date of birth complete the PAN information. They would then have their own photos added to fake PAN cards so that, during video verification, their appearance matched that of the photo on the PAN and Aadhaar cards, according to authorities.

The Pune-based business said that the fraudsters used their app to contact them and submit information like their PAN and Aadhaar number in order to obtain credit cards.
