Dubai, Mumbai and Shenzhen By 2030 Will be Among the Wealthiest Cities with the Greatest Number of Millionaire

By 2030, Dubai, Mumbai, and Shenzhen (China) will be among the richest cities. According to the Henley Global Citizens Report for Q3 of 2022 (July-Sept’22), released by Henley & Partners Group, a London-based residency consultancy organisation, these three cities are expanding swiftly and are predicted to join the top 20 cities with the most billionaires by 2030.

According to the research, millionaires are people who have investable assets worth $1 million or more.

With 67,900 millionaires, 202 centi-millionaires (those with fortune equivalent to or above 100 million), and 13 billionaires already living there, Dubai is now rated 23rd in the world. Mumbai, an Indian city that ranks 25th globally, is home to 60,600 millionaires, 243 centimillionaires, and 30 billionaires.

According to the report, the National Stock Exchange and the Bombay Stock Exchange, which are both located in the megacity, are two of the top ten largest stock exchanges in the world by market cap.

As opposed to this, Shenzhen, a city in China, is home to 43,600 millionaires, including 135 centimillionaires and 17 billionaires, and is now rated 30th. The Shenzhen Stock Exchange, the seventh-largest stock exchange by market cap, is located in the city, which is often regarded as China’s hi-tech hub.
