Elon Musk’s neurotechnology startup, Neuralink, which creates implantable brain-computer interfaces, has completed its Neuralink brain chip. Musk made the announcement on Twitter on Thursday. The new Twitter CEO and Tesla CEO stated that the Neuralink brain chip is complete and that he is really optimistic about the device. Musk was so convinced that he would be willing to implant the brain chip in himself.

“We are now sure that the Neuralink device is ready for people,” Musk tweeted as he announced the brain chip. The Neuralink brain chip is believed to allow the blind to see their surroundings and the paralyzed to walk or move through their thoughts.
Musk is so confident in the Neuralink brain chip that he is willing to have it implanted in one of his children’s brains. In one of the recent interviews given at Neuralink’s offices, he stated that he would be fine implanting a Neuralink brain chip into one of his children. “I would say we’ve reached the point where, in my judgment, it’s not harmful,” he added.
Human trials, according to the millionaire, will begin within the next six months. We’ll have to wait and see what happens with the trials, as Neuralink has previously missed various timeframes for testing the chips on humans.
Musk stated that he is confident in the brain chip and will implant it in himself whenever the technology is ready. “You could have a Neuralink device implanted right now and have no idea. “I mean, hypothetically,” he added, “in one of these demos, in fact, in one of these demos, I will.”
