The Orissa High Court has published a recruitment notice for the hiring of Research Assistants who will support the court’s judges in their judicial duties.

Candidates who are interested and meet the requirements can apply for the openings using the application form found on the Orissa High Court’s official website, www.orissahighcourt.nic.in.
The application must be received by November 18, 2022, in the High Court of Orissa, Cuttack, Registrar General’s office.
Conditions & Qualifications for Eligibility
(i) If a candidate is a practicing attorney, they must have earned an LLB or LLM from any accredited university, college, or institution within three years of the date of their application. They also must not have more than five years of experience in the field.
(ii) A candidate needs to be proficient in using computers.
(iii) The candidate must be physically and mentally healthy, free of any physical or mental impairments, and qualified for the position.
The nationality and age
(i) To be eligible, an applicant must not have turned 33 on January 1st of the year before the final deadline for application submission.
(ii) He must be an Indian national.
Honorarium
The Research Assistant will get a set honorarium/stipend of Rs 30,000 per month for his or her engagement, or for any greater sum that may be stipulated in this regard from time to time by the State Government, but without any dearness or other allowances or perks.
Duration and type of engagement
The appointment is strictly temporary and contractual in nature, normally coterminous with the tenure of the Chief Justice/Judge or for a term of two years, whichever comes first.
