The majority of women are first-time employees, with an average age of 21.
According to a recent Bloomberg article, Apple intends to begin producing 25% of its iPhones in India by 2025. It was about 1% in 2021, and today it is about 7%, which is not surprising given that Apple has tripled its production rate in India over the past three years. According to rumours, India is set to release iPhones in 2023 at the same time as China does. According to the quoted source, Apple’s vendors currently employ around 60,000 people in India.
