Fox, 36, came to Instagram late last night to upload a carousel of photographs and videos, as well as a highly mysterious note, leading followers to fear the two celebrities had called it quits.

“You can taste the deception/all it’s over your breath,” she captioned the photo.

The actress’s social media activity fueled suspicions that she and her fiancé had split up.

Not only did the “Jennifer’s Body” actress, 36, erase many of her images with the 32-year-old musician, including a post celebrating his Grammy nomination last week, but she also no longer follows him on Instagram.

Fox poses in front of a mirror wearing a deep-cut black bodysuit with her hair sleeked back, save from the two pieces framing her face and gold jewellery highlights in the three new photographs, which were posted in the early hours of Sunday, Feb. 12.

The second and third shots, which appear to have been taken in a bathroom, show the Jennifer’s Body actress standing near an unnamed individual in a grey sweat suit who appears to be assisting Fox in taking the photos.

She also posted a video of a lit fire pit burning what appeared to be letters, other mementos, and memories from her connection with the musician. Fox also erased (or maybe archived) any images of her and MGK, 32, from her Instagram account, adding fuel to the flames.

Several pop culture fans also pointed out that after the actress published the post and erased all photographs of MGK online, she began following Eminem—a musician with whom her presumed ex-fiancé was notoriously feuding—on the social media platform.

Fox and MGK started dating in 2020, after meeting on the shooting of the independent film Midnight In The Switchgrass. They announced their engagement in January 2022, after dating for two years.

Their romance was a whirlwind romance, as the couple dazzled on multiple red carpets with their extravagant attire, remained open about their romantic “rituals,” and, of course, the frenzy that followed the couple’s infamous Pam & Tommy Halloween costumes.

Neither party has issued an official statement announcing their breakup. Nonetheless, the apparent dearth of couple images on Fox’s Instagram, combined with the fact that she no longer follows MGK on the platform, suggests that this famous affair has ended.
