The Economic Offenses Wing of the Delhi Police questioned Bollywood actor Nora Fatehi for more than six hours on Thursday in relation to an extortion case connected to conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar. This occurs the day after Jacqueline Fernandez was questioned about the same issue for approximately eight hours.
Actress Jacqueline Fernandez was named in a charge sheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), which is looking into the money trail in the extortion case involving Sukesh Chandrashekhar. Later, the ED questioned Nora Fatehi on the same matter.
Nora Fatehi was questioned alongside Pinky Irani, who was charged with introducing Jacqueline Fernandez to the con artist and who was allegedly paid in crores of rupees for the work. The Delhi Police, however, claimed that Nora Fatehi had no direct relation to Jacqueline with regard to the case.
“Pinky Irani is present, therefore we want to question both of them. There are some issues that require clarification. Regarding this matter, Nora and Jacqueline don’t have any direct connections “Ravindra Yadav, Special Commissioner of Police, EOW, spoke.
Police claim that Nora Fatehi received presents from con artist Sukesh Chandrashekhar paid for by the crime. She allegedly participated in a Chennai event that was connected to a criminal organization.
Sukesh gave Nora’s Brother-in-law a BMW
According to reports, Nora Fatehi admitted to the authorities that she has never met Sukesh or Pinky. According to authorities, she informed the EOW officials that she was in contact with Sukesh Chandrashekhar over WhatsApp.
According to sources, Bobby, Nora’s brother-in-law, has acknowledged that Sukesh Chandrashekhar gave him a BMW for Rs 65 lakh.
8 lakh rupee bicycle taken from Jacqueline’s manager
A Ducati motorcycle was taken from Prashant, Jacqueline Fernandez’s representative, by the EOW personnel.
According to reports, Prashant received the bike in February 2021. It is thought to have cost Rs 8 lakh.
