Odisha CM unveiled projects worth Rs 214 crore in Jagatsinghpur

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched a number of projects in Jagatsinghpur district worth Rs 214 crore via virtual mode.

The chief minister dedicated four Mission Shakti bhawans and a 10-bed ICU at the district headquarters hospital, which cost Rs 4.29 crore to build. He dedicated four Mission Shakti Bhawans at Jagatsinghpur, Balikuda, Tirtol, and Balikuda, as well as a 10-bed intensive care unit in the District Headquarters Hospital.

Aside from that, the chief minister lay the groundwork for 43 projects in the district totaling Rs 209.54 crore. More than 12 lakh individuals are expected to benefit from the projects. In his remarks, he stated that the Maa Sarala temple has been included in the Integrated Development of Heritage and Monuments and Tourist Destination project. He stated that Rs 42 crore will be spent on temple renovations, which will be finished by the end of December 2023.

He stated that the most important thing is to maintain people’s faith and belief. “We’re working on it, and we’ll keep working on it,” he continued.

Rajashri Mallik, MP for Jagatsinghpur, Prashant Muduli, MLA for Paradip, Sambit Routray, Tirtol lawmaker Bijay Shankar Das, and other BJD leaders and senior government officials were present. VK Pandian, the 5T secretary, oversaw the program.

The Biju Kalyan Swathya Yojana (BSKY) has so far benefited eight lakh people, with the government spending Rs 1,600 crore. The 5T initiative has altered 102 schools in Jagatsinghpur to date. The Maa Sarala Temple has been designated as a tourist destination under the Integrated Development of Heritage and Monuments scheme.
