Tom Cruise attempts to pull off the “greatest stunt in movie history”

For the upcoming Mission Impossible film, Tom Cruise is doing everything imaginable. The Hollywood star gave fans a sneak peek at one of the jaw-dropping action scenes as the seventh installment prepares for release early next year.

In-depth details about Tom Cruise attempts to pull off the “greatest stunt in movie history” for the first part of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning:

In a video that Paramount Pictures recently posted, Tom and his colleagues discuss the months of preparation they put into this prank. The chase scene calls for the action star to leap from a cliff while driving a motorcycle. He adds that anything they are putting up is for the audience and that it is by far the riskiest thing they have ever undertaken.

Fans will see Tom getting ready for the scenario in the following few minutes. Additionally, he grinned at the camera and said, “Be confident.” The base jump trainer also explains how the Hollywood star can pick up the rope skills in a flash. You tell him something, and he locks it in. In addition, he says that the actor is very “alert” because he is seen effortlessly jumping off the helicopter.

The crew goes on to describe how they practiced every detail of the stunt and would even wind up performing 30 jumps in a single day. They estimated that there had been around 13000 motocross jumps and 500 skydivers. In order to ensure that the jump proceeds as planned and is well filmed by the cameras, they used technology to construct a platform. The stunt might result in significant harm or possibly death, the coach even cautions.

The cast claps and celebrates for the performer as he pulls off the life-threatening action toward the conclusion. He extends his gratitude to the staff for a job well done. He also adds, though, that he doesn’t believe he held the bike for as long as was necessary. Tom went off the motorcycle six times in one day, according to a crew member, making this the largest stunt in movie history. In an embarrassing video, the team can be seen laughing together as Tom makes a face while putting on the parachute.

In addition to Tom Cruise, other actors reprising their roles in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One include Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Henry Czerny, Vanessa Kirby, and Frederick Schmidt. Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Cary Elwes, Rob Delaney, Indira Varma, Shea Whigham, Mark Gatiss, Esai Morales, and Charles Parnell will all appear in the upcoming movie. On July 14, 2023, it is scheduled to open in theatres all around the world.
