Users of the meal delivery service Zomato can now add items from many restaurants at once to their carts. Users will be able to add food from up to 4 restaurants at once with the new multi-restaurant cart capability without losing the items in the cart. After doing this, they can order from one location before moving on to the others.

A brief about users are now able to place orders from many restaurants at once thanks to the Zomato Multi Cart Feature

Users may simply make a shortlist of what they want to eat from several restaurants and add it to their cart so they won’t have to look for it again after placing an order in one place. Other food items in the other restaurant’s cart won’t disappear once they place an order from one restaurant. They only need to go back and place the remaining orders one at a time. Before before, if you added food from a different restaurant, the app immediately removed items from the original restaurant.

“At Zomato, we aim to constantly innovate and evolve for better customer experience,” a spokeswoman for the company told Tech Today. Customers can use this option to add items to several carts without having to navigate between menus.

Notably, Zomato’s rival meal delivery app Swiggy does not yet offer this feature. But it may be found on apps like Pincode, an Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) app from PhonePe. Additionally, consumers can simultaneously add food from numerous restaurants using cloud kitchen company Rebel Foods.

Additionally, Zomato revamped its Zomato Gold reward program in January of this year, taking the place of the business’ Pro Plus membership. The initial price for the Gold membership is Rs 149 for three months. If the restaurant is within a 10-kilometer radius of the user, members will receive free delivery on orders totaling more than Rs 199.

A viral video of a Zomato delivery person eating food from a garbage bag recently generated news for Zomato. Netizens then expressed unhappiness with the state of affairs. The agent can be seen in the video carrying a delivery bag from the business while sporting a Zomato t-shirt, which IAS officer Awanish Sharan posted on Twitter.

“This season, take care of them too,” said the post’s caption.

Many individuals have left comments on the video on Twitter lamenting the agent’s behavior and voicing their displeasure. “It’s the truth; it’s not vulnerability. He is also a person. Let the public know how they are nourished by individuals who provide them with meals around-the-clock, one Twitter user urged.
