At the 4th annual Asia Pacific Education and Technology Awards Summit 2022 (APETA-2022), which was held in Goa, Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University was named the “Best Promising University in Asia for Research.”

At the summit with the topic “Future Technology in Higher Education, the New Education Policy (NEP) Perspective,” SOA director Mahendra Prasad accepted the award. According to a review by Education Post, universities and colleges received awards during the summit for their contributions to various academic categories.
Sarpreet Singh Gill, the secretary for education in Goa, attended the event as the program’s chief guest, and Sanjay B. Chordia, the group’s founding president and chairman from Pune, gave the keynote speech.
The cornerstone of education, primary, secondary, and higher secondary schools, need to be improved urgently, according to Gill. He expressed his satisfaction at universities and colleges being recognized for criteria including strengthening students’ entrepreneurship and leadership skills as well as strong business connections.
The Education Post’s editor-in-chief Shiv Shankar Sharma and Shiksha Sabha TV, a subsidiary of the Education Post, congratulated the organizations that received awards during the summit.
A multidisciplinary institution recognized to be a university, SOA, was ranked 16th by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2022, and 16 of its researchers were included in Stanford University’s list of the top 2% of scientists in the world this year.
